Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care – CHC30121

Course Information
Educators hold a crucial position in the development of young children. They support the wellbeing and growth of children within recognized learning frameworks, utilizing a wide array of skills and expertise. Adhering to established policies and procedures, they apply their discretion and judgment in their responsibilities, whether they are working autonomously or under supervision, which may not always be conducted on-site. Early childhood educators find employment in a variety of environments, including long day care centers, family day care, preschools, and kindergartens. To achieve this qualification, individuals are required to complete a minimum of 160 hours of practical experience in regulated children’s education and care services in Australia, as outlined in the Assessment Requirements of competency units. These hours may be allocated across the relevant competency units.
